“A Better Nectar” composer Robert Hoehn finding resonant frequency for “Resonant Nest” with the prototype cell at his Venice, CA music studio. The cell is close to an Eb 92 Hz, a resonant peak that is well below the human vocal range of the composition Bob is working on. Bees are close to 440 Hz. We have to avoid the 440 Hz or the the cells would amplify the fundamental frequency and might even break (from vibrations) if we played their resonant frequency back through them for an extended period (like an opera singer shattering a wine glass…)
